Paramount recently released the first photo of Mickey Rourke in costume as Whiplash. We know the scene takes place at the Monaco Gran Prix race track. Our friends at MovieViral noticed something fishy on Stark’s monitor. You see those squiggly lines across the top?

They look very similar to the map of the Monaco Gran Prix:

Also notice Stark’s other monitor… is that a breakdown of Rourke’s tech?

Stark is looking rather annoyed at his super futuristic translucent screen. Could it be that this is the moment he first learns of Whiplash? I think so.

Actress Emily Blunt (Dan in Real Life, The Devil Wears Prada, The Jane Austin Book Club) will be portraying Russian SuperSpy Black Widow.

Black Widow is a Soviet super spy that dons a skintight black costume that is enhanced by high-tech weaponry. She is an integral character in the Avengers universe because she betrays them in the comics even though she works for them and gains their trust. I’m guessing this is integral in the further development of The Avengers movie and the Tony Stark storyline that leads into that.

Mickey Rourke (Sin City, The Wrestler) will be portraying villain Crimson Dynamo.

Sam Rockwell (Moon, Choke, Frost/Nixon) will be villain Justin Hammer.

It has been rumored that both John Cho and Tommy Chong will be in Iron Man 2.

John Cho is rumored to be Mandarin and Tommy Chong would be the Mandarins Father……

I don’t know what to think…

There have been lots of rumors flying around about the new and upcoming Iron Man 2.

First off it appears that Tim Robbins has been re-cast as Howard Stark, Tony Starks father. In addition to that, it just so happens that Hawkeye and Black Widow may show their faces.

Only time will tell…
